Rev. Michael Tutterow

Michael Tutterow brings a wealth of experience, with over 35 years as a senior pastor of churches in North Carolina and Georgia. Until June 2023, he served as the Lead Pastor for Heritage Baptist Church in Cartersville, Georgia, for an impressive 12 years. In addition to his pastoral role, Michael holds a Certificate in Christian Leadership Coaching (CCLC) and has been providing coaching to individuals, churches, and organizations for over two decades.

Michael has actively contributed to leadership roles within the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship at both state and national levels, showcasing his dedication to broader organizational development. As a former journalist, he has applied his writing skills to produce news and feature articles, book reviews, and curricula for various religious publications.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Michael finds joy in singing and playing music, indulging in long walks outdoors, and exploring the culinary arts through cooking experiments. Married to Vicki for more than 42 years, they share a family that includes a daughter, Madeleine, a son, Stephen, and a daughter-in-law, Emilee. The true treasures of their family are their two grandchildren, Callan, age 7, and Ryan, age 3.

Michael earned a B.S. in Education from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and holds a Master of Divinity from The Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. His diverse background and multifaceted skills make him a seasoned and well-rounded individual in pastoral and leadership capacities.
