Dr. Randy Ashcraft

With over 30 years of experience, Randy Ashcraft has dedicated his career to serving as a Senior Minister in various congregations across the United States. Currently, he holds the position of Pastor in Residence at the Virginia Baptist Mission Board, specializing in Ministerial Health and Wellness and Contemplative Spirituality. Randy is a certified instructor in the Thomas Concept and has received coaching training through the Center for Congregational Health in Winston-Salem, N.C. A proud graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University and Texas Christian University, he holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in transitional leadership.

Randy’s expertise extends beyond his pastoral roles; he is the principal at REDclay Concepts, a leadership and coaching organization focusing on strategic planning, non-profit board development, and executive coaching. REDclay primarily operates in healthcare, boasting clients such as Bon Secours and Inova Health Care System of Northern Virginia. Additionally, Randy is a Congregational Engagement consultant for Bon Secours, Richmond.

Actively engaged in various roles, Randy is a Duke Divinity School Baptist House Board member and participates in Metro Ministers, a peer learning community that promotes ministerial excellence. Residing in Richmond, Va., Randy finds enjoyment behind the wheel of an old British sports car. Randy works in the CHC-MidAtlantic region.
