Rev. Ruth Perkins Lee

Rev. Ruth Perkins Lee holds a deep affection for the local church. With roles as a preacher, educator, facilitator, and conversation partner, she has accompanied churches on their journeys through the intricacies of ministry. Rev. Perkins Lee is a graduate of Columbus State University (BA in Psychology) and McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University (M.Div. with an emphasis in Christian Education). With a decade of service in the local church as Minister of Students, she engaged with students from 6th grade through graduate school.

Transitioning into denominational work at the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, Rev. Perkins Lee’s passion for the local congregation continued to flourish. Currently, she serves as the Project Director of the Ministry Collaboratory at Princeton Theological Seminary, supported by the Lilly Endowment’s Young Adult Initiative. Rev. Perkins Lee is happily married to Scott, a skilled chaplain, and they are proud parents of two daughters, Dora and Abby Kate. Their cherished family pastimes include storytelling and shared laughter.
